Survey Question Examples
What are 5 open-ended questions?
Five worth using: what motivated the search for a solution, how they'd describe the experience, the most valuable part, difficulties encountered, and advice for improving.
- 1. What motivated you to look for a solution?
- 2. How would you describe your experience with our product?
- 3. What was the most valuable part of the experience?
- 4. What difficulties or frustrations did you encounter?
- 5. What advice would you give us for improving the product?
None of these can be answered with a flat "yes" or "no" - that's the point. They get people explaining their thinking, which is often where the real insight is: the language customers use naturally, issues you didn't know existed, and the reasoning behind whatever your rating scores are telling you. Just be careful with wording - "How much did you enjoy our excellent service?" is leading; "How would you describe your experience with our service?" isn't.
