Survey Question Examples
What are 10 good questions to ask?
It depends on your objective, but for customer research or feedback, ten questions covering motivation, discovery, decisions, usability, satisfaction, retention, and improvement work well.
It really depends on what you're trying to learn, but for customer research or feedback, these hold up:
- 1. What problem were you trying to solve?
- 2. How did you discover our product or company?
- 3. What alternatives did you consider?
- 4. What influenced your decision to choose us?
- 5. How easy was it to get started?
- 6. What feature or benefit do you value most?
- 7. What has been difficult or frustrating?
- 8. How well did the product meet your expectations?
- 9. What would make you more likely to continue using it?
- 10. What would you change if you could?
Between them, they cover motivation, how people found you, how they decided, how usable things are, satisfaction, retention, and what to fix. You don't need to ask all ten - just the ones that match what you're actually trying to figure out.
